Advanced Open Water

This program is four courses total, including three specialty courses:

Deep Diving, Night and Limited Visibility, and Navigation.

AND one flexible rotating course (depending on your interest and check-out dive location):

Nitrox

The Fine Print

This course consists of three classroom sessions, an optional pool session (based on the instructor's discretion), and a minimum of four open-water check-out dives. The open water dives will consist of a combination of at least three deep dives, two-night dives, and two navigation dives. You have the option of doing your check-out dives either locally or on one of our many trips. You will earn the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification upon completion of all four specialties, their check-out dives, and 24 logged and verified dives. You can receive a physical copy of your Certification Card at our Monthly Heroes Hangout.
